The sterile white walls of the hospital room seemed to stretch infinitely as Tim stared at the ceiling, the rhythmic beeping of the monitor syncing with the distant sound of a drum. Suddenly, the shadows in the corner coalesced into a tall figure wearing a tattered uniform and a mask that looked like a smiling skull. 'It is time,' the figure whispered, handing him a baton made of cold iron. Tim stood up, his legs trembling not from weakness but from the sudden realization that he was no longer alone in this final journey. The doors swung open to reveal a gray sky filled with marching ghosts, and for the first time since the diagnosis, Tim felt ready to walk.

Reader's Guide

Gerard Way serves as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter, having been with the band from its inception until their initial hiatus in 2013.
